Radical Blogging: Start Out With the Right Attitude

by the juice on February 8, 2009

Thanks for being a regular. Glad you are here!

First things first…You are starting a new website, new blog, or possibly stumbled upon this website while searching for directions to the hair salon down the street.

Regardless of how you arrived here, welcome…This is not your ordinary Web Success site. I’m not going to post crap that you don’t need and hopefully as this blog grows, we will both learn together the ingredients for success. I must admit, although the site is named “Web Success”, that was sort of a subversive ploy to get you here. Will this site be filled with information, ideas, and proactive advice for web and business success? Yes, definitely…but it will also be filled with inspiring articles about success in life, success in relationships, inner success, and living a meaningful life.

yourselfThe truth of the matter is, success for success’ sake is never lasting or meaningful. This blog is about “being”. In order to succeed in anything, including a blog, you must find yourself first, discover your passion…and then success will come as easily as the next sunrise.

Ingredients for radical blogging? Let’s begin with the main ingredient…YOU…Write what you know, write your true opinions, don’t hide behind a mask, don’t ride the fence and above all else…DO NOT ADD WATER.

A watered down blog will be skimmed over and discarded. You can’t please everyone…You won’t please everyone…

So you may as well please yourself by being yourself. And if you don’t even know who you are, this blogging thing will be a journey of great discovery for you.

...If you liked my tip, please leave me yours

First of all, congrats on setting up this new blog. I arrived here from BC (Barbers Corner-lol) and I have to admit that I am already looking forward to read your future articles. I hope they are just as convincing as this Radical Blogging:)

BTW, true, true, true… “You can’t please everyone…You won’t please everyone…”

Good luck and all the best. You have just been tagged.

Hey, great blog post! This looks like a promising blog to get people into the groove of blogging. In life, in blogs, in business, you must be true to yourself, true to your passions, and give it your all. No reason to hide behind anything- you only have this one life! (That we know of anyway, haha) Keep up the good work!
